While some praised Kusama for attending the event in person, others expressed their frustration with his ongoing efforts to hide behind a mask, suggesting that SHIB fans at the event should unmask him.
Currently, Kusama’s true identity remains unknown. Notably, the Shiba Inu project was launched in August 2022 by an anonymous developer or group of developers using the pseudonym “Ryoshi.” The pseudonymous founder oversaw the Shiba Inu project for nearly two years until their sudden departure in 2022.
